Its that time of year we need to turn our minds to renewing our ADA memberships. The year has gone quickly, in spite of COVID-19, and June is approaching fast.

What have we accomplished in the past year?

We’ve managed to keep you updated on important matters including COVID-19 and the restrictions that have been such a feature of our lives. We’ve negotiated with the TGA to make their regulatory framework for personalized medical devices more rational for dentists, and kept you informed every step of the way. This process continues, and we’ll keep you updated.

ADAQ is your reliable source of trustworthy information.

We have responded to your feedback on Continuing Professional Education by adding new CPD courses to address your needs. Our mission is to become the best CPD provider in Australia, and you will already have seen changes we’ve made in our offerings.

A focus is to provide hands-on courses, and we are working hard to ensure that these are not limited to just Brisbane. We’re a large state with many members, and all of you deserve access to our CPD.

For those who are unfortunate enough to be sent a notification from Ahpra or to be faced with an audit from a health fund, the support we provide through our Member Advisory and Support team, headed up by Neesha Piece, is world-class. The team is here to support you throughout the whole process. We’ve got your back!

If you know dentists who are not members, feel free to tell them why we matter and what we can offer them. ADAQ is the professional home for Dentists and we want everyone to be a Member. There are many advantages, and sometimes they need to hear it from their peers.
