Mastering Indirect Quadrant Dentistry
This hands on course is designed for registered dentists.
Aim
This workshop aims to address issues by analysing modern preparation and adhesive bonding strategies, debunking myths, highlighting the differences between older preparation techniques to newer preparation techniques, and also clarifying the current adhesive systems available today
COURSE OVERVIEW
Currently, the types of dental restorations that are available to us are significantly different from what we had 20 years ago. Indirect restorations, such as Crownlay, veneerlay, and tabletops, are now possible due to our increasing confidence in bonding techniques. It is now evident that we can bond to the tooth substrate without utilising any retentive and resistive form, leading to conservation of more tooth structure than ever before.
The preparation and bonding indirect restorations can be perplexing due to the rapid advancements in techniques and technology that can sometimes contradict older ones. This can result in uncertainty about which protocols to use, leading to unpredictable results.
